"Hygge" (pronounced HOOGA) is a danish and norwegian word that means a "cozy, comfortable, and contented mood". This Scandinavian Dark ale is a 3.2% brownish beer that is influenced by old world dutch porter & winter season scandinavian farmhouse ales, using a handful of different english malts (floor malted barley, amber malt, caramel malt & black malt), american dark munich malt, canadian oat malt & a touch of smoked malt from sugar creek malt. This beer also uses juniper branches in the mash to help louter the beer, but also provide a tannic, woodsy backbone for this malt to rest on.

Plants  is a mixed culture amber blended saison 5.9%. It’s complex background comes from the dark mixed culture beer, the longest & most cultured of the blends (similar to the flavor of an oud bruin), presenting rich fruit notes of raisins, plums, dates & black cherries, alongside caramel, toffee, orange & coco. The supporting cast of saisons, weisse beer, & grisette that were blended into this base allow these flavors to mellow, presenting an amber saison w/ a super balanced, nuanced acidity & deep funk. 

BLEND: (Dark mixed culture from 2022, young saison from 2024, grisette from 2023, sour weisse bier from 2022 & 2023 & mixed culture patersbier from early 2024) 

RELEASED NOVEMBER 2024

Batch #2 of Gleep brings a couple changes from batch #1 (2022). We've lowered the abv just a touch to 3.9%, helping to get in that uber sessionable sour range, & hibiscus has been added to the cascara of the previous batch. This addition of super floral citrusy hibiscus has really given this beer some much needed lifting, amping up the previous batches rosehips profile & bringing it to a place where I feel like this is a rose style berliner.

Things That Dreams Are Made Of, nordic weisse 3.9% Scandinavian wheat, a table beer of sorts. It pours with a deep yellow haze & sparkling carbonation, a very funky earthy nose that dives into a grisette adjacent beer, w/ sparkly notes of acidity & subtle funk. The bready & citrusy tones will quench a drinker's palette & be perfect for spring drinking! This beer builds on our past portfolio of crushable wheat beers that not only provides session-ability paired with your favorite dishes, but will give your fridge a go-to during the mid week when you need that low abv post work refresher.

BARB is the latest & greatest double gose of the year & boy does this baby pack a punch! First brewed in 2022, this is barbs first trip back around the block. Tropical punch that is! @ 6.4% this super aromatic gose is like a punch in the face of orange citrus & deep fruity funk. A dose of lemon balm tea w/ added hot side to develop an earth tannic base. After primary fermentation, the batch was re-fermented on the juice of 44lb of rhubarb & 42lb of kiwi nectare! This beers big pectin notes reminds us of fruit by the foot when we were kids, ya know back when it was mostly stuff that you wanted. This beer will be a huge hit of anyone that likes nadi orange wines Or looking for a beverage to carry you through a late night dinner w/ the inlaws.

Neck Woof, Grisette 4.20%, a mixed culture fermented saision brewed w/ aged whole cone hops from Michigan & Minnesota, plus. a little aged Nelson Sauvin from our cellar. Woof pours w/ a cloudy yellow haze & big wheaty nose that jumps out in the glass. Dewey grass & freshly cooked baguettes push this lemony, slightly funky little friend to a level were super proud of. Much of this batch is to be blended into this years mixed culture blend :)

FERMENTED & SOURED IN TANK OVER 36 HOURS BEFORE INTRODUCING PINK GUAVA & POMEGRANTE FOR A VERY HAPPY & ACTIVE RE-FERMENT. DRY HOPPED W/ MICHIGAN GROWN CASCADE & YUZU SUPERJUICE IS ADDED BEFORE CARBONATION TO KEEP THE CITRUS AS BRIGHT AS POSSIBLE. WE ARE STOKED PUSH THE LIMITS OF OUR MINDS EYE & BRING THIS BEAUTIFULLY BRIGHT & AROMATIC SOUR TO PARTIES EVERYWHERE THIS SUMMER. WANDER POURS WITH A DEEP HAZY PINK HUE & A FLUFFY HEAD, DIVING DEEP INTO A SOURNESS THAT REMINDS US OF PINK LEMONADE & UNDERRIPE GREEN STRAWBERRIES. CRUSH A BLE BODY W/ TONS OF FUN MOUTHFEEL. THIS IS THE TART BOI YOU WILL CRAVE. PROST!
